We are a book rental service for children learning to read English in Japan. We have tweeked virtuemart to work only as a catalog but also allow our customers to create wishlists of books they wish to borrow. A shopping cart, virtuemart, seemed ideal as it allows multiple categories for searching and keeps the availability hidden from the customer. Most of the site is bilingual (Japanese/English) so feel free to look around.
